India removes oil minister as it reshuffles cabinet

Mumbai-Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on January 19 moved oil minister Murli Deora to the ministry of corporate affairs and junior oil minister Jitin Prasada to the ministry of road transport and highways, the government said in a statement. Jaipal Reddy, the 69-year-old urban development minister, takes over from Deora.
