Vietnam applies crude-based tax for product imports

Singapore-Vietnam has implemented a new crude-based import tax structure for oil products imports, effective February 1, an official with the country's Ministry of Finance said February 2.Import tariffs are now 20% for gasoline, kerosene and jet A-1, and 15% for gasoil and fuel oil. Previously, import tax was levied at 30% for kerosene and 20% for gasoline, jet A-1, gasoil and fuel oil.
