Jakarta-The Indonesian government will oppose parliament's plan to lower the cost recovery limit in production sharing contracts to $12 billion from the earlier proposed $13 billion as this would have an adverse impact on upstream investment in the country, a senior minister said January 4. "We will [try and] revise the policy [if it is passed] in the 2010 state budget," Hatta Radjasa, coordinating economy minister, said.
