Lithuania agrees to take Venezuela crude for Belarus

Moscow-Lithuania has reached a deal to take 2.5 million mt/year (50,000 b/d) of Venezuelan crude for onward supply to its landlocked neighbor Belarus, the head of Lithuania’s state-owned oil terminal Klaipedos Nafta, Rokas Masiulis, said October 8. “The deal will be signed by the end of October and the first oil will arrive at the start of [next] year, if not sooner,” Masiulis said.
