Santos set to sell 15% of Gladstone LNG

Sydney-Santos is looking to sell a stake of up to 15% in its Gladstone coal seam gas-to- LNG project in eastern Australia, CEO David Knox said August 26 after releasing the company’s interim results. “We are in advanced discussions with a number of Asian LNG buyers for train one and train two offtake, as well as equity in the project,” Knox told a press conference. “We expect our maximum interest in the project [at] FID will be 45%.”
