Chinese refiner Dongming to start new crude unit

Singapore—Dongming Petrochemical, a key independent refiner in East China’s Shandong province, plans to bring online a new 3 million mt/year (60,000 b/d) crude distillation unit in May, a source close to the refiner said April 22. The new CDU will double the plant’s nameplate capacity to 6 million mt/year.
