New York-April crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange settled $1.14 higher at $80/barrel February 24, following RBOB gains, with the weekly US Energy Information Administration data report looking bullish for gasoline.Crude futures were also supported by a weaker US dollar, and a stronger equities market. At the time of the close of NYMEX open outcry, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up roughly 75 points at 10,358.
