New York-New York Mercantile Exchange March crude oil settled 76 cents higher at $75.28/barrel February 11, boosted by a rally in equity markets and a renewed slide in the dollar.For the sixth consecutive session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied back above the psychologically important 10,000 level, arresting an early sell-off in petroleum futures. The DJIA showed triple-digit gains throughout most of the session despite a lack of concrete action by the European Union regarding debt-burdened Greece. While the EU pledged to aid Greece, no definitive proposals were put forth.
