Bangkok-Thailand's consumption of gasohol E20 and E85 rose month on month and year on year in October, the country's department of energy said November 5. Demand for E20, a mix of 20% ethanol and 80% gasoline, jumped 1.5% from September and 152.3% compared with October 2008 to 271,000 liters/day, the official figures showed. Demand for E85, comprising 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline, rose 66.7% month on month and 210% year on year to 1,000 l/d.
