UK’s Victoria eyes first Cameroon gas by year-end

London-UK upstream minnow Victoria Oil and Gas said February 10 it plans to produce the first gas from its Logbaba gas and condensate project in Cameroon by the end of the year as it finalizes drilling arrangements for a production well. In an operational update, Russian-focused Victoria said negotiations are ongoing for the shipment of a drilling rig in Algeria and it expects mobilization of a rig to the site within three months.
