Sinopec opens new crude terminal at Fujian refinery

Singapore-Chinese oil giant Sinopec Corporation has begun operations at its 300,000 dwt Qinglanshan crude terminal in Quanzhou city in south China's Fujian province, a refinery source said February 17.The Yuanming Lake, a VLCC with capacity of 300,000 mt, delivered 118,000 mt of crude to the terminal over February 15-17, the source said. The VLCC, carrying a total of 299,070 mt crude, came from Saudi Arabia and discharged 181,070 mt at Hong Kong before it arrived at Qinglanshan.
