Moscow-Russia's Gazprom plans to include fields offshore the Yamal Peninsula in the later stages of its planned Yamal LNG project in northern Russia, Gazprom Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev said June 9. Gazprom is conducting a pre-investment study for the planned liquefaction plant on the Yamal Peninsula, which will initially use gas from the Tambei group of fields onshore gas-rich Yamal.
