Gazprom close to Venezuela, Bolivia deals

Moscow-Gazprom hopes to sign deals in Venezuela and Bolivia in the near future to expand its upstream activities in Latin America, the Russian gas giant said in a new bond issue prospectus published last week.Gazprom expects to take a 30% interest during the exploration stage of the Blanquilla Este y Tortuga offshore block in Venezuela, falling to 15% during the production stage, the prospectus said.
