Houston-Canada's Husky Energy was monitoring Hurricane Bill for its potential impact to the company's White Rose oil field operation, a company spokeswoman said August 19. The White Rose platform has been shut for planned maintenance, but is on target to resume operations by the end of this week, Husky spokeswoman Colleen McConnell said. There are currently no plans to evacuate or shut down the facility again ahead of the storm.
