Pertamina to hike gasoline imports to build inventories

Singapore-Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina plans to import at least 5 million barrels of gasoline in March in a bid to raise its stock levels to 20 days of demand, a senior company official said February 6. Lower-than-expected deliveries of term gasoline cargoes this month could have partly contributed to Pertamina’s strong appetite for imports in March, trading sources said.
