Singapore-Sinopec Group restarted its 5 million mt/year (100,000 b/d) Dongxing refinery in south China's Guangdong province's Zhanjiang city on August 25, following two months of scheduled maintenance, a refinery source said. The Dongxing refinery, 75%-owned by Sinopec Group, had shut all its refining units in late June. The maintenance allowed for the connection of new and recently upgraded units to the existing refining system, the source added.
