Sydney-Shell Australia is working toward restarting its 86,000 b/d refinery at Clyde in the east coast city of Sydney around July this year, Chairman Russell Caplan said May 5. "We're working on the preconditions of restarting Clyde now and I'm hopeful that the refinery will be up and running at the beginning of the second half of the year...some time around July," Caplan told journalists in Melbourne. "But we've got a lot of [technical and training] work to do before I can be definitive about that," he added.
