Tangguh may only ship 50 LNG cargoes in 2010: BPMigas

Jakarta-Indonesia's Tangguh project may only deliver around 50 cargoes of LNG next year, down from the original estimate of 56, the chairman of Indonesia's upstream regulator BPMigas, Raden Priyono, said October 15. "We see that the world economy has not yet recovered, so LNG demand may be going down," Priyono said. "We estimate that Tang-guh may deliver only 50 cargoes next year, but it is our early estimate...the actual number of cargoes delivered by Tangguh will be based on buyers' demand."
