Washington-The US Energy Information Administration in its Short-Term Energy Outlook for October released October 6, said it expects WTI to average $59.90/barrel this year, rise to $74.33/b in next year's fourth quarter, and average $72.42/b for all of next year. In its September Outlook, EIA forecast a 2009 WTI average of $60.12/b; the latest 2010 forecast is unchanged from last month's projection. In 2008, WTI averaged $99.57/b.
