Moscow-BP and its Russian partners in TNK-BP said May 27 they have appointed one of the venture's Russian shareholders, Mikhail Fridman, as an interim chief executive, agreeing to pick a permanent replacement CEO for the joint venture from two new hires by the end of the year.
