Washington—Regular-grade gasoline in the US is expected to average 3.84/gal this year, more than 1/gal above the 2007 average, and remain at more than 4/gal until the fourth quarter of 2009, the Energy Information Administration said July 8 in its Short Term Energy Outlook.
