Singapore-Bangkok's airport crisis has spilled over into the Asian jet market in the form of unexpected spot selling from Thai refiners, trade sources said December 1. Thailand is not a major exporter of jet fuel in the region. The unexpected selling caused discounts for physical cargoes of jet fuel loading in Singapore to widen. At the close of trading in Asia on December 1, the discount for physical jet fuel loading in Singapore had widened to minus $2.84/barrel after sinking to minus $2.69/b on November 28 on the back of an aggressive offer from Shell.
