Russian write-up key to BP reserve additions

New York—UK oil major BP said last month it replaced 113% of its 2006 production with new oil and gas reserves, without detailing where or how. But in a year-end US securities filing March 6, BP revealed almost all its reserve replacement last year came from a massive 1.22 billion barrels of oil added at its TNK-BP joint venture in Russia.
