Singapore—Pakistan’s Oil and Gas Development Corporation Limited August 22 reported a net profit of Pakistani Rupees 45.63 billion (760 million) in the financial year ending June 30, 2007, down 0.7% from the previous year. The fall came despite a rise in sales revenue, mainly because of higher costs relating to the increase in exploration and prospecting activity, OGDCL said in a statement.
