Australia’s Basker Manta set to rise to 15,000 b/d

Sydney—Australia’s Basker Manta oil field in the Gippsland Basin off the southeastern state of Victoria has produced an average of 10,000 b/d in the second quarter to date, but is expected to return to around 15,000 b/d early next week after the completion of a shutdown to address a mechanical problem with a swivel on the field’s floating production storage and offtake vessel, operator Anzon Australia said.
