PetroChina’s marketable gas output at 4.55 Bcf/d

Singapore—China’s largest oil and gas producer PetroChina April 16 reported a combined 3.7% increase in oil and gas production in Q1 this year at 277.6 million barrels of oil equivalent. Crude production inched up a mere 0.7% from a year ago at 209.2 million barrels or an average 2.32 million b/d, but marketable gas output staged a healthy 14% rise at a cumulative 410.6 Bcf, or an average of 4.5 Bcf/d.
