BP sees Prudhoe output restarting in two weeks

BP Exploration Alaska hopes to restart in about two weeks much of the 95,000 b/d of Prudhoe Bay crude production shut in because of a damaged pipeline,the company said March 14.BP plans to divert crude from Gathering Center 2 on the west side of the Prudhoe Bay field to a 24-inch diameter pipeline that can accommodate 50,000 to 70,000 b/d,field manager Maureen Johnson said.
