Record permits could mean gas production increase for Virginia

Houston-Just seven counties in Virginia produce natural gas,but a record number of permits issued last year,coupled with the debut of large independent Chesapeake Energy in the state a couple of months ago,could spell a sizable production increase in 2006,according to state officials.
