Sinopec starts operating new catalytic reformer at Maoming refinery

Hong Kong-Sinopec began commercial operations August 20 of a new 1.2 million mt/year (24,100 b/d) catalytic reforming unit at its 13.5 million mt/year Maoming refining and petrochemical complex, a MRCC official said August 23. The Maom-ing complex is in southern China's Guangdong province and mainly supplies the local market.
