Hocol-led group wins Colombia's Niscota field

Bogota-A consoritum led by Hocol placed the winning bid for Colombia's Niscota oil field, estimated to hold 500 million barrels of reserves.The consortium, which also includes Tepma, the Colombian unit of France's Total, and Canada's Talisman Energy, offered to transfer 61% of total eventual production of oil and gas from the field to the Colombian government.
