Output gain pushes Santos to record revenue for 2005

Sydney-Australian E&P company Santos rode a 19% increase in output to post record revenue of A2.46-bil (1.85-bil) for 2005,up 64% from the 2004 high.Production for the year rose to 56-mil boe,beating the company's revised target of 55-mil boe,and is poised to climb again by around 8% in 2006,Santos managing director John Ellice-Flint said in a statement Jan 25.
