Sydney-New Zealand's Pohokura project has begun producing commercial quantities of gas and condensate, joint venture operator Shell said in a statement October 1.Commercial output has been achieved from the three completed onshore wells which are flowing through the production station at Motunui, near New Plymouth, said Ajit Bansal, chairman of the Pohokura Operating Committee.
