Noble to upgrade moorings on Gulf fleet

Reacting to damage from this year's hurricanes,contract driller Noble Corp will upgrade mooring requirements for its Gulf of Mexico floater rig fleet to make the units equivalent to a permanent mooring code similar to that used for floating production systems.The program extends a commitment Noble made months ago to use stronger mooring requirements on its newbuild Clyde Boudreaux(ON 7/26).
