Total to boost refinery spending in France

Paris-Total,Europe's largest refiner,plans to invest Eur2.8-bil (us3.4-bil) in refining in France from now through 2010,three times as much as in the first half of the decade,which will boost its diesel production capacity by 4-mil mt/yr,the company said Sep 16.
