Washington-Links in the US natural gas supply chain reported varying degrees of impact from Hurricane Katrina,with gas processors hit the hardest,pipelines indicating minor damage and distributors reporting ample supply.Operations at Duke Energy Services' 600,000 Mcf/d Mobile Bay processing facility are "indeterminate at this point," a spokeswoman said.The plant suffered minor storm damage and was awaiting production to begin flowing from offshore.Evaluation of Duke's offshore infrastructure "could take some time" as the company has not yet secured helicopters for visual assessment,she added.
