Shell takes 20% interest in 8 Newfoundland licenses

Shell Canada has acquired a 20% stake in eight exploration licenses in the deepwater Orphan Basin offshore Newfoundland and Labrador,the company said Mar 2.The interest was obtained under a farm-in agreement with ExxonMobil Canada and Imperial Oil,Shell said.
