Moscow-Russia's crude oil production hit 9.93 million b/d in August-the highest level since the last post-Soviet record in October 2007-boosted by the launch of Rosneft's giant Vankor field in East Siberia earlier in the month.The country's crude production rose in August for the sixth consecutive month, gaining 1.5% year on year to 42.149 million mt, according to preliminary data released September 2 by the Central Dispatching Unit (CDU), part of Russia's Energy Ministry.
