Grameen Bank is located in one of the poorest nations on Earth, Bangladesh. The bank is seeking new and innovative ways to meet the needs of its stakeholders, while differentiating itself from its competitors and improving the environment. With this article, we begin to see the role of micro-lending mechanisms in creating sustainable development. This banking instrument serves to alleviate the poverty cycles by providing access to credit and ultimately raise the standard of living among its clients.
