Kiev-The Ukrainian government wants to help broker a solution to the dispute between Russian oil major Lukoil and UkrTransNafta, Ukraine's state oil shipper, in an attempt to restart the Odessa oil refinery, a senior government official said October 8. Lukoil shut the refinery last week following the dispute with UkrTransNafta, which switched the supply of crude to the plant from one pipeline to another October 1, citing national interests (OPR 10/5).
