New York Harbor cash gasoline differentials jumped Wednesday amid growing concerns that supplies in the short-term may have tightened, particularly in light of a still-closed trans-Atlantic arbitrage window, market sources said. A recent widening of the NYMEX front-month RBOB futures contango and stabilizing at such levels may be giving selected market players an incentive to start storing gasoline, the sources also said.
