Hong Kong-China's consumption of oil products in the first quarter of 2009 fell 6.35% year on year to 57.35 million mt, according to data released this week by the National Bureau of Statistics. The decrease was 3.83 percentage points higher than the 2.52% year-on-year fall reported in the fourth quarter of 2008, the NBS said in a statement on its web site, without providing further detail.
