Vienna-Nigeria has awarded new term crude oil contracts to 27 companies from this March until December 2009 for volumes of between 30,000 b/d and 60,000 b/d,a senior state-owned NNPC official said January 29."There are 27 contracts that have been awarded today,"NNPC's head of crude oil marketing,Aminu Baba-Kusa,told Platts.India's IOC and China's Sinopec are among the Asian companies that picked up contracts,he said.
