Americas crude:Gulf sweets rise as spreads narrow

US Gulf cash sweet crudes rose Friday,lifted by ongoing weakness in the WTI/Brent spread and the narrowing of the NYMEX crude futures spread,which eventually settled the day in contango,market sources said.
