BP joins biodiesel race with JV in new biofuels push

London-BP has agreed to set up a joint venture with UK biodiesel producer D1 Oils that,the companies hope,would become the world's biggest producer of jatropha oil,a biodiesel feedstock that does not compete with traditional edible oil crops such as rape seed and palm oil.
