Crude stocks at the Louisiana Offshore Oil Port storage facilities have been steadily sliding mainly because of a return of refineries from planned maintenance or unplanned repairs,and to some extent,the recent flip to backwardation from a contango,market sources close to its operations said Monday.LOOP has the capacity to store some 50 million barrels of crude in onshore,underground caverns.
