International crude: West African grades well supported

West African 1 Nigerian grades remained well supporte hursday.Activity was reported to be low according to traders as many of the cargoes in both the light and medium heavy grades have moved."Light sweet is almost cleared,"a trader said.The main driving force for the high demand is gasoline prices.This is making Nigerian grades very attractive,especially for US buyers.On the other hand,buyers in the Mediterranean are saying that current values of Nigerian grades and even medium heavy grades is placing them beyond their reach and alternatives will have to be found.
