A small group of hedge funds have begun targeting the currencies and stock markets of Asian countries with outsized fuel subsidies,a Morgan Stanley economist wrote in a note posted on the bank's website late Tuesday.The bank's Singapore-based Executive Director and economist Daniel Lian based his comments on recent visits to "more that two dozen buy-side portfolio managers and analysts" in Hong Kong and Singapore.
