Distillates:Gulf heating oil bucks the trend

While the rest of the distillate market's cash differentials lost ground Tuesday,the heating oil in the US Gulf Coast bucked the trend with cash differentials rising 50 points thanks to Colonial Pipeline scheduling day shorts.The market for 86-grade finished with a range of 2 to 1.5 cts/gal under the June NYMEX heating oil contract.The low-sulfur diesel trended from 4.65 cts/gal over the NYMEX early in the day to 4 cts/gal over the NYMEX.The Jet 54 moved from 4 to 4.5 cts/gal over the NYMEX before falling back to 4.25 cts/gal over.The jet/kero 55 was running even to 54-grade.
