Distillates:Nippon increases kerosene demand for January

Japanese refiner Nippon Oil has significantly revised up its kerosene procurement plan for January amid growing concerns that it might not have enough stocks to meet domestic demand.Nippon Oil now plans to procure a total 222,000 kl(1.4-mil bbl)of kerosene on a spot basis in January to supplement its own production,a refinery source said late Thursday.Of the total,it plans to import some 142,000 kl and buy the rest from the domestic market,the source told Platts.
