US Gulf Coast high-sulfur 3% scaled higher Thursday,largely ignoring sharply lower crude.In swaps,balance-Jun 3%S paper settled at 36.60/bbl,and the Jun/Jul backwardation held at 0.70/bbl.In Houston,Sempra traded 45,000 bbl to BP Marine at 36.90/bbl for a Jun 6-8 loading.No talk followed for high-sulfur at Hofti.On the River,BP bid from 36.50/bbl to 37.25/bbl,FOB St Rose or Gretna by Jun 8 with no offers.Vitol,who had been a seller of 3%S on the river earlier in the week,did not show barrels Thursday for the earlier Jun 6-8 loading.No dialog was heard in 3.5%S or 1%S.
